GLOWAY SSD Warranty Service Terms

Dear Customers,

Thank you for trusting and choosing GLOWAY products. We always prioritize your rights and interests and provide you with comprehensive and considerate service guarantees. During use, if you encounter any problems or need assistance, please feel free to contact our customer service team through the following methods. GLOWAY strictly complies with relevant national quality laws and regulations on consumer rights protection, adheres to the service concept of "Customer First", and provides you with a sound after-sales service experience. The detailed warranty terms are as follows, and we recommend you read them carefully to fully understand your rights:

 

I. Warranty Scope

All GLOWAY products have undergone complete testing, and the quality of raw materials and manufacturing processes are strictly controlled during the production process. Subject to compliance with the following terms and limitations, GLOWAY will provide repair or replacement services for any product failures caused by material defects or craftsmanship issues.

II. Warranty Period

The warranty period for GLOWAY SSDs is as follows:

Within the TBW (Terrabytes Written, the total amount of data written corresponding to the theoretical service life of the solid-state drive) specified in the product manual, GLOWAY provides a 3-year warranty service for SATA series SSD products and a 5-year warranty service for PCI-e series SSD products. The service period starts from the date of purchase. The warranty period is deemed to have expired if it exceeds the warranty period or the TBW.

*Notes:

【1】For hard drives that have already undergone after-sales service or replacement, the secondary after-sales service will not recalculate the warranty period. The warranty will still continue based on the original purchase date.

【2】The official party only provides product repair services and is not responsible for recovering or backing up the data you generated during the use of the product.

【3】The theoretical write capacity advertised on the official website is only for warranty purposes. Due to differences in product models and solutions, there may be a discrepancy between the actual write capacity and the theoretical write capacity advertised on the official website. The actual test results shall prevail.

For example: Taking a 120GB-128GB hard drive as an example, if the purchase time exceeds the warranty period advertised for the product, or the written data reaches 80TB, either of these two situations shall be deemed as the end of the warranty. The write capacities corresponding to various capacities are as follows:

【3】The above-mentioned free warranty service only applies to failures or abnormalities caused by non-human factors. In case the product is discontinued or factory repair services can no longer be provided, the official party has the right to decide to provide a substitute product with similar capacity and functions. After replacement, the returned product shall belong to GLOWAY Official.

【4】If the damaged components of the product have been discontinued and no corresponding components can be found in the market, GLOWAY will replace them with products of the same specification, upgrade to products with higher frequency, or upgrade to products with the next-generation interface. For the repair of products in the Selected Particle Series, there is no commitment to lock the brand of the particle manufacturer.

【5】If the laws of a specific country/region require specific terms of guarantee for the product, GLOWAY will provide warranty services to local consumers in that country/region in accordance with such laws.

 

III. Warranty Service Content

1.The warranty service only applies to brand-new products purchased from authorized distribution channels of GLOWAY. This warranty does not apply to products resold second-hand or purchased from unauthorized distribution channels.


2.For users who made purchases online: Please contact the customer service of the original purchasing platform to confirm the after-sales process, and present your purchase proof. Properly package the product, enclose your delivery address and contact information, then send the product to the Guangwei After-Sales Center. After receiving the returned product for repair, Guangwei will inspect and confirm the internal and external damage of the product, and proceed with repairs and return shipment as soon as possible to minimize inconvenience to the customer. The customer shall bear the shipping and insurance costs of the product.

For users who made purchases offline: Please call the official 400 hotline on the official website to discuss after-sales matters, and you are also required to present the original purchase proof.

 

3.GLOWAY may provide users with spare products in stock to replace defective products instead of repairing the products. After replacement, GLOWAY has the right to dispose of the defective products sent back by users for after-sales service on its own. Therefore, under such circumstances, the repaired product you receive may not be the original product you sent.

 

IV. Non-Warranty Scope

The following situations are not covered by the free warranty service:

1. Products without faults, or products that exceed the warranty period/total write capacity (TBW);

2. Products with damaged appearance, damaged board corners, damaged gold fingers, or altered, damaged, or missing warranty labels;

3.Failures caused by failure to use the product in accordance with the operation manual or failure to maintain the product as instructed in the manual;

4.Damages caused by force majeure factors (such as floods, fires, earthquakes, lightning strikes, typhoons, etc.);

5.Damages caused by intentional human destruction (such as tapping, breaking, hitting, etc.) or negligence (such as loss, improper storage, etc.);

6.Damages caused by unauthorized installation, attachment, expansion, modification, repair, or disassembly;

7.Damages caused by physical, electronic, or electromagnetic interference, unstable power supply, misuse, lightning, or static electricity;

8.Damages caused by exposure to improper environments (such as high temperature, high humidity, etc.);

9.Damages caused by improper transportation and packaging during the process of sending the product for repair;

10.Failures caused by using the product for R&D purposes or professional testing;

11.Natural wear and tear of the product and end of service life caused by excessive writing;

12.Products purchased through non-legally authorized distribution channels of GLOWAY, second-hand resale channels, or resold products that violate the import and export regulations of various countries.

 

V. Data and Disclaimer

GLOWAY is only responsible for product repair and inspection and does not provide data recovery and backup services. GLOWAY shall not be liable for any data loss caused by any factors, or any resulting loss of profitability, loss of expected costs, or accidental or consequential losses. The product is not recommended for use in high-precision or safety-critical fields such as life support machines, medical equipment, military equipment, and aerospace systems.

 

VI. Notification of Product Changes and Discontinuation

When GLOWAY makes major changes to a product or discontinues it, it shall notify customers three months in advance. Customers may continue to place orders before the product termination date, and no orders will be accepted after the termination date.

 

VII. Other Terms

GLOWAY may update these warranty terms from time to time, and the latest content published on the official website shall prevail.

If the laws of a specific country/region require the provision of specific guarantees, GLOWAY will provide warranty services in accordance with local laws.
